More About Me
I am Krishna Kewat, a graduate computer science professional with a strong focus on machine learning, deep learning, and medical image analysis. My work centres on building robust, interpretable models and end-to-end ML pipelines that address real-world problems, particularly in healthcare and data-driven decision systems. I enjoy combining solid theoretical understanding with practical implementation, ensuring that models are not only accurate but also reliable and explainable.
I have hands-on experience developing and evaluating deep learning models using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, with a strong emphasis on clean data pipelines, model generalisation, and performance analysis. My projects demonstrate a research-oriented mindset, where I carefully analyse model behaviour using metrics, confusion matrices, and feature-level insights rather than relying on accuracy alone. I am comfortable working independently on complex problems and continuously improving systems through experimentation and iteration.
My technical skill set spans machine learning, deep learning, and software fundamentals. I am proficient in building convolutional neural networks, applying transfer learning, and designing reproducible ML workflows. I have experience working with structured and unstructured data, implementing preprocessing pipelines, and evaluating models using appropriate statistical metrics. Alongside ML, I maintain a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and version-controlled development practices, allowing me to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
January 2025 - Present
I completed my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Greenwich, where I developed a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, data science, and advanced computational methods. My academic work focused on designing and evaluating data-driven systems, with particular emphasis on medical image analysis, model interpretability, and end-to-end machine learning pipelines. Through coursework and independent research-oriented projects, I gained hands-on experience in building robust ML models, conducting systematic performance evaluation, and applying theoretical concepts to real-world problems. The programme strengthened my analytical thinking, research methodology, and technical depth, supporting my progression toward advanced roles in AI, machine learning, and research-driven engineering.
June 2018 - July 2022
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, where I built a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, and core software engineering principles. The programme developed my problem-solving skills and computational thinking, while providing practical exposure to Python, databases, and system-level concepts. This undergraduate training established the technical base that enabled my later specialisation in machine learning and advanced AI systems during my postgraduate studies.
Here are a few selected projects from my GitHub, focused on deep learning and real-world ML pipelines.
